About Anya
Hi, I’m Anya!
I’m Anya, a recent graduate from Agnes Scott College. I’m 21, I use she/they pronouns, and I’m from Austin, TX. I also have a cat named Oswin, who’s 14 years old.
Personally, I use my spare time to play, create, and learn. I love to create cosplays, short films, drawings, and various physical art. I love to play lots of games, from video games to board games to Dungeons and Dragons. I love to learn through watching video essays and reading fiction.
Professionally, I chose a business major because it’s flexible and practical, and because it gives me tools I can apply across many kinds of work. I like understanding how ideas move and connect through the world: how numbers, stories, and visuals come together to influence decisions.
Marketing feels like a natural fit for me because no two days look the same. I’m energized by problem-solving, adapting to different audiences, and working on projects that change based on people, context, and purpose. I’m especially interested in the psychology behind marketing, what makes something memorable, emotional, or effective, and why.
I chose a liberal arts college because I value learning across disciplines and connecting ideas that don’t usually sit next to each other. That’s also how I approach relationships and work: with curiosity, flexibility, and care. Whether I’m tutoring, nannying, reselling online, or collaborating on a project, I enjoy helping people navigate problems and feel understood.
This portfolio reflects how I think: creative, analytical, and always looking for work that’s meaningful, human, and a little different every day.

Meet Oswin!
She’s 14 years old and has been with me since I was 8. She’s named after the Doctor Who character, Oswin Oswald.
Oswin’s quite a strange cat. She’s just as playful as she was when she was a kitten, and possibly even more talkative. She plays fetch, is very serious about hydration, and loves to yap, much like her mother. Her favorite toys are pipe cleaners and catnip kickers, and she absolutely hates bells.
Check out some more photos of her and the song I wrote for her here and Oswin’s Instagram here!
